PTA Enrichment Programs: “Red Scarf Girl”
March 18 - Ji Li Jiang Cultural Arts program (during school)

Each year, PTA funds teacher-requested enrichment programs that
support academic lessons. We asked teachers to share the impact of
the programs supported by your donations.

“Students benefit from the rich storytelling of Ji Li Jiang, as she
recounts her experiences living through the Cultural Revolution in
China. “Red Scarf Girl” is a coming of age memoir which is in the
sixth-grade curriculum. In addition, the sixth-grade social studies
classes delve into China’s rich history. Ms. Jiang does a wonderful job
presenting her story in an engaging, age appropriate way.” - Teacher

Your generous donation to PTA makes author visits, like Ms. Jiang’s, possible. You can help spark a love of literature, acting and science by supporting PTA and the high-quality school enrichment programs it funds. To date, we have raised $3,820 of our $6,000 direct donation goal. We need your help so we can continue to provide these academic programs.

How to Donate
Please go to www.dunlogginmspta.org to donate via PayPal (yellow Donate button at top of page). Or, send a check payable to DMS PTA to: Dunloggin Middle School PTA,Dunloggin Middle School, 9129 Northfield Rd., Ellicott City, MD 21042
