Welcome!

We hope everyone enjoyed their summer.  Dunloggin Middle School is an excellent school with talented, caring staff, enthusiastic students, and involved parents. The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is volunteer group dedicated to supporting the school and enhancing the quality of the educational experience at Dunloggin for all students.

Your involvement is important and will contribute greatly to your child’s success. We are excited that your child will be part of this school, and we look forward to getting to know your family.

We invite you to become involved and to make this school an even better place for all the children. Whether you choose to lead a committee, volunteer at an event, send supplies for a class activity, or donate money, your help is important and appreciated.

Attached is some additional information about the PTA along with a membership form.  Your family can support the PTA for $15 (1 membership = 1 vote).  PTA membership funds directly support our children's programs. Whether or not you join the PTA, please consider completing the volunteer section at the end of the form.  Any help is welcomed.

Board Seeks Public Input on Options to Relieve High School Overcrowding
On June 7, 2018, the Board of Education directed the Superintendent to provide comprehensive options to manage overcrowding in high schools. Staff presented those options to the Board on August 23, 2018. The full Board report and video of the meeting are online.
The Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the topic Tuesday, September 11 at 7 p.m. Individuals may pre-register online through 4 p.m., Friday, September 7. Any groups wishing to testify are asked to register by calling the Board office at 410-313-7194.
Members of the public also may email the Board to provide feedback on these options. Emails may be sent to boe@hcpss.org. Be sure to indicate which option(s) you are providing feedback on. To learn more about the options to relieve high school overcrowding, visit the HCPSS School Planning webpage. We recommend people monitor state legislation that impacts our district's school funding. Before the October PTAHC meeting the state legislature is voting on bills that do just that.
