Get Ready For School Spirit Days! Winter Sales ends this week. Sport your Dragon pride (and support your PTA) with spirit wear delivered before Winter Break. Support the Homewood Recycled Treasure Sale The Homewood School has programs to meet the specific needs of individual students who have difficulty functioning in traditional classroom settings. Homewood does not have a PTA as each student is counted at their home school. The Dunloggin Middle School Community plans to support Homewood School’s Recycled Treasure Sale. Donations are accepted to be used for students to “buy” holiday gifts. To view video: Recycled Treasure Sale 2018. The DMS PTA has placed boxes for these donations in the time square area. Items will be accepted at DMS until Monday, Dec 17. After Dec 17, donations can be delivered to the Homewood's front office. DMS PTA Reflections 2018-19 Congratulations to all of the DMS students who participated in the PTA Reflections Arts Program. Chairs and volunteers will be needed for many of these activities. Thank you for your support. ************************************************************ Community Events Parent Information Sessions: Programmatic Options to Reduce Enrollment at CHS and HHS HCPSS Staff will be hosting a series of parent information sessions on the programmatic options available to reduce enrollment at Centennial and Howard High Schools. These family sessions will share information on the opportunity to participate in Project Lead The Way Biomedical Science, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering at Marriotts Ridge; student reassignment, shuttles to HCC, and career development options. Each information night will cover the same content, and parents of rising 9th - 12th graders are encouraged to attend whichever event best fits their schedule.
