OUR PTA HAS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU! It’s the time of year again where we nominate and elect board members for next year’s PTA.
A Nominating Committee consisting of three PTA members has been formed to select a slate of Officers and Board of Director Members to present to the PTA for elections in June. We would like your input in recommending Board of Director members for the 2019-2020 school year. It is fundamental to our organization that we fill these positions with interested and dedicated parents who are committed to the well-being of our students, staff & families. Could that be you?
Some of the positions we need to fill include, but are not limited to:
Vice President II - for Fundraising
Membership Chair (or Co-chairs)
If you don’t want to join the board, consider taking on a leadership role for an event (Movie Night, Robotics, Fall Social, Sponsorships, etc.). We need you! If you have any questions about the open positions or responsibilities, feel free to contact one of the Nominating Committee members listed below.
Schedule of Nomination and Election Process:
May 24, 2019: Deadline to submit nomination forms and statements. Please e-mail all nominations to email@example.com
June 10, 2019: Elections for the 2019-2020 Executive Board and Board of Directors are held during the General PTA meeting at 7:00 PM.
Per the bylaws, absolutely no proxy voting is allowed. Last minute nominations may also be accepted at this meeting.
Letters of Interest and Nomination Forms must be mailed to and received at the address above (or emailed to Nominations@dunlogginmspta.org on or before May 24, 2019.
